Fender flares wheel arches for MITSUBISHI L200 Animal, Warrior, Triton, 4Life

This set of arches (4 pieces) are made for the MITSUBISHI L200 DOUBLE CABIN (ANIMAL, WARRIOR, TRITON, 4LIFE), year 2005- 2014. They stick out about 3 to 4 cm from the side of the vehicle.

Flares for the single and extra cab are also available (they don’t have the cut-out for the fuel door, see the two last photos). When you order, please leave me a note if you want the set for these models.

They are made of good quality, hand-laid fiberglass. The flares come with an attractive, black, textured finish (the second and third photos shows the actual finish, the flares in all the rest photos have been rubbed smooth and spray painted with black glossy paint).

Make sure your car is the model described above. The newer facelift model (2010 -2014, 4LIFE) has a little different front bumper, so if you have this let me know and I will send you the arches that fit this (see photos above). If you are in doubt, send me a few photos of your car showing the front, sides and back. I will reply within a day and let you know if it’s the right model.

Please, have in mind that these flares are not exactly the same as the originals, so if your car has a broken original flare, you cannot replace it with one of these. They will not look the same. Also, they cannot be used as replacements for the original flares of the Barbarian model.

Each arch is installed with 4 self tapping screws on the underside surface, by drilling and screwing. The two upper screws are fitted through sheet metal strips which are fixed on the fiberglass. The metal strips keep the flare flange 2cm lower from the wing flange. This design allows the flare to be flashed with water on the inside in order not to collect mud and debris. The two lower screws go through the fiberglass flange. Another screw must go to the lower front edge and to the lower back edge (in total 6 screws for each arch).  Note that you can use your original mud flaps only on the rear flares. The front mud flaps will not fit on the front flares, but you don’t need them anyway as the flares will work partly as mud flaps (see the photos in the listing).

The arches are best installed by a professional or an experienced amateur.
